Growing up in the churched South, Matt is still convinced that myriads of people “exchange the truth of God for a lie, and worship and serve the creature rather than the Creator.” (Romans 1:25) Devoting his life to promoting the worship of God through the local church Matt currently serves as a pastor at Crosspoint Church in Clemson, SC. He and his wife, Sarah, were married on August 2, 2003 and they have an 19 month old daughter named Corrie Noel and one baby on the way. He is a graduate of Furman University (BA in psychology), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MA in counseling), and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDIV). I hope that my writings stimulate your passion to worship God “with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” (Mark 12:30).
